Forst machines and tools contribute to the expansion of global production capacities in
the field of electromobility.

Additional orders received for RISH Helical broaching machines from major global automotive OEM manufacturers and Tier-1 suppliers.

2020 Foundation of the U.S. subsidiary Forst Technology Americas LLC
  Delivery of the first broaching machine for purely electric drivetrains.
  Delivery of additional RAWX turbine disc broaching machines to China. On-site commissioning was ensured even during the Corona pandemic by our own service.
2019 Foundation of the P.R. China subsidiary Forst Broaching Technology (Nanjing) Co., Ltd. 
2017 The 50th RISH Helical broaching machine is delivered.
2015 Joining the gearbox and technology working group of the WZL at RWTH Aachen University.
2014 Construction of an additional 1,000 square meter assembly hall and expansion of the machine tool park.
  Development of a horizontal RWAX turbine disc broaching machine.
2007 Construction of the most modern gas turbine broaching machine globally.
2003 Michael Kölker acquires Forst and manages the company as owner.
1990s Development of a special external broaching machine for gas turbine discs up to two meters  in diameter.
1980s Expansion of the production facility and addition of a new assembly hall.
 

Cooperation with RWTH University of Aachen, hard broaching is introduced into large-scale production.

1973 Delivery of the first Helical broaching machine for internal gears for automotive automatic transmissions.
1970 Construction of an automatic broach tool sharpening machine and thus improvement of tool and service life.
1957 Foundation of the subsidiary Forst Broach/Great Britain.
  Foundation of the subsidiary Dagger Forst/India.
1948 Reconstruction and expansion of the Solingen plant.
1944 Destruction of the Solingen plant.
1940 Establishment of a separate plant for the production of Enor drive units.
1928 Expansion of production to include oil-hydraulic drives for horizontal and later also vertical  machines in single- and two-cylinder design.
1914 Entry in the Commercial Register as a manufacturer of horizontal, mechanically driven  broaching machines.
1909 Foundation by Oswald Forst.
